Exploring the reminiscence of Santa culture in Dhaka Bangladesh, the photo series documents the people living by the Buriganga river which used to be the the central trading port during the British empire. The urbanization leads to the decaying of a society and culture that embraces the spiritual life. I have been involved into a practice of seeking meaning towards life and death that lead me to excavate the people and their environment believing in supernatural energy and the divine. This shaped my belief of science and philosophy, entangled in the intricate relationship between human and nature, which is distinguished as separate agencies.
